Privacy policy

Reading this site sets no cookies, runs no trackers, and stores nothing about your visit. Nothing about what you read is recorded or sold.

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics: a cookieless, aggregate page counter that sets nothing on your device and cannot follow you across sites. Apart from the link count below, it is the only measurement here.

Some links the studio posts on other sites pass through hardboundstudio.com/go/ on the way to a page here. Following one adds one to a count for that link on that day, and nothing else: not your IP address, your browser, the page you came from, or anything stored on your device.

Two forms are the only thing on this site that collects what you type. The subscribe form, at the foot of every page, stores your email address, which product page you were on if any, the date, and a random code that lets you leave the list. The form that sends you a free resource stores your name and email address, which resource you asked for, whether you ticked the box for studio notes, and the date. Your IP address, your browser, and what else you looked at are not stored.

Those rows sit in one database held by the studio on Cloudflare. To send you email, the studio passes your address to Resend, the service that delivers it, and to nobody else. Nothing is sold. Every email has a link to leave the list, or write to info@hardboundstudio.com and yours is deleted.

Any email you send us is used only to answer you. We don't add you to a list or pass it on.

The studio publishes its own posts to its own accounts on Pinterest, X, Instagram, Threads, Facebook and YouTube through each platform's official API. That tool acts only on accounts the studio owns. From each platform it receives the access token for that account and the names of its boards or pages, and nothing about anyone who sees, likes or replies to a post. What it receives is used only to publish, is held by the studio, and is not sold or passed to anyone else. Disconnecting an account deletes what was held for it.

Each product's own privacy page says exactly what that app does with your data.
