A small practice closing many client entities in one quarter runs out of review time. Three Claude skills turn checks in that queue into repeatable runs a junior can start and a reviewer can read in minutes: IFRS 18 re-presentation, a consolidation disclosure tie-out and the UAE VAT close.
Who it is for. A small practice closing several client entities in the same quarter, where the partner or the one senior who knows IFRS 18 and the VAT rules has become the queue every file waits in.
What you get
One ZIP, about 120 KB, with four files: a five page playbook as a PDF and three skill ZIPs, ifrs18-reclassifier, disclosure-tieout and gcc-vat-close, uploaded to Claude as they are.
Requires A Claude account on any plan from Free to Enterprise, with code execution and file creation turned on. The playbook gives the install steps.
Inside
IFRS 18 reclassifier.
Re-presents an IAS 1 profit or loss statement under IFRS 18 for both periods. It settles the judgement questions first, assigns every line to a category with a paragraph anchor, and returns the new statement, both required subtotals and the reconciliation from the old presentation.
Disclosure tie-out, 42 lines.
Works a draft set of group accounts against a 42 line consolidation and presentation checklist and marks each line Mapped, N-A or Open, with where, why or what is missing.
UAE VAT close, 15 lines.
A year end review: returns against the ledger, filing and payment deadlines, unpaid suppliers past the window, blocked costs and the year end VAT balance. Every open line comes with its period and amount.
Every figure from a script you can read.
Every run ends in a file, not a conversation, with every line answered and a gate line that says whether the file is ready or how many lines are open. Every number comes from a short Python script inside the skill, never from the model adding up.
Tested blind before release.
Each skill was run by a fresh Claude session that had never seen the answers, on fictional entities with planted errors, and checked by an independent script against a key. It found all seven planted disclosure gaps and all eight planted VAT errors.
A five page playbook.
For running the three skills across a book of clients.
Questions
What do I need to run it?
A Claude account on any plan from Free to Enterprise, with code execution and file creation turned on. The playbook gives the install steps.
Do I need to know Python?
No. Claude runs the scripts itself once code execution is on. The scripts are there so the arithmetic is done by code you can read.
Does it cover Saudi Arabia, Oman or the other GCC states?
No. The VAT skill covers UAE VAT and no other state's, and says so when another state comes up. The two IFRS skills apply wherever the entity reports under IFRS.
Is the tie-out a complete disclosure checklist?
No. It covers the consolidation, deferred tax, impairment, IFRS 12 and IFRS 18 presentation matters it lists.
How current is it?
Content frozen 8 October 2026. Every skill ends its answer with the date of the rules it was checked against. Check a figure against the current official text before relying on it.
Can I change the skills?
Yes. They are plain text and short scripts. A line you add to a checklist is picked up by its tally script automatically.
Terms
Licence. Yours to use however you like: your own work, client engagements, across your whole firm, modified or rebranded, for as long as you like. One purchase, no seat count, no renewal. The one thing we ask is that you do not resell or redistribute the files themselves as a product.
Privacy. Whichever of Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad or Polar you buy through is the merchant of record. It receives your name, email, payment details and billing country, and handles payment and any sales tax under its own registrations. The studio receives order metadata only, the product, amount, date and your email for delivery and support, and never receives card details. The downloaded files carry no tracking, no analytics and nothing that phones home. The skills are plain text and four short Python scripts you can read, run by Claude inside your own Claude account, and the playbook is a PDF with nothing to run and no links out.Confirmed 2026-10-19.
